Pricing and shipping

Customers can pay in either Australian or US dollars depending on whether purchases are made in the Australian or US shop.

Australian customers purchasing from the Australian shop and sending to Australian addresses will pay local flat-rate shipping  (see below) by Australia Post and will also pay Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Australian customers purchasing from the Australian shop and sending to outside-Australia addresses will pay GST plus overseas postage- see below. Overseas orders will be shipped by Australia Post first-class airmail.

Customers anywhere in the world purchasing products from the US shop and sending to any country will be charged at overseas shipping rates, as we are based in Australia. Orders to addresses outside Australia will be sent by first-class airmail, See below for expected arrival times.Note that, for GST reasons,  customers in Australia cannot purchase from the US shop.

Note that all of our products have free shipping worldwide except Gentle Birth, Gentle Mothering, where shipping cost is

From Australian store

• AU$8.80 to an Australian address for any number of books
• AU$22 per order to New Zealand and Oceania
• AU$33 per order to all other countries

From US store

• US$25 per book to any address

Note that Gentle Birth, Gentle Mothering is available from Amazon US and UK, and other Amazon and internet bookstores worldwide, in local currency with local postage. See links on right margin

Note that the currency converter that we provide will only give approximate values. Exact exchange rates will be set by your credit card provider.

Your order

After you place an order, we will email you with a confirmation that your order has been received. You will also receive an email to tell you when your payment has been accepted.

Your order will be packed and shipped at our earliest convenience, usually within 2-4 working days. Orders will be shipped the most quickly when they are placed Monday to Thursday and not on public holidays.

For Australian orders, we are now delivering by Express Post  if this is available to your shipping address. This means that you will usually receive your order within 2 to 7 days, and a little longer if you are outside Express post areas

International orders will also usually be packed within 2 to 4 days. International orders will be shipped by Australia Post first-class airmail and will usually arrive within 5 to 15 days. Please note that postage times depend on Australia Post and your local postage service, which are usually prompt and reliable. If your order has not arrived within 21 days, please email us at admin@sarahbuckley.com

Cheques and direct deposits

If you would like to purchase a book from our webshop and are unable to pay by credit card, please email admin@sarahbuckley.com to arrange another payment method.

We can accept cheques in Australian dollars and also direct deposits into our Australian bank account from Australian banks. Due to the high bank fees for international transactions, we cannot accept checks or bank deposits from outside Australia.

Guarantee

All of the books sold through the website have an unlimited guarantee. You can order any book and look it over. If you are not satisfied, you can return it at any time and your full purchase price will be refunded (minus shipping charges), with no questions asked.

There is no time-limit to this guarantee: you can return books even after a year.

If you receive an item that is faulty or damaged, please contact us within a week of receipt at admin@sarahbuckley.com for a replacement copy.

We can also accept DVD and CD returns, but note that a full refund (minus shipping) will only be given for those that are received in perfect, re-saleable condition, and our assessment will be final.

Out of stock and refunds

If the book is temporarily out of stock, we will email you to let you know when we expect to have it available. We are happy to refund your money if the delay is too long for you.

Refunds will usually be done by PayPal.

Cheque or direct deposit refunds are available in Australian dollars to Australian purchasers who have purchased by these methods.
